hi'

Is there any chance that you create a rss feed for your module ? I saw there is a new method to do that (http://xoops.org/modules/news/article.php?storyid=6080) but my skills are too limited :(

What version of Xoops are you using?
What editor are you using?

I will look at this tonight.

John,

So far so good. Thanks. We now have a problem with the data base not showing a field.

If we try to modify an entry, when we go to:
/modules/alumni/admin/main.php?op=Modify&lid=45

the field 'Student Activities :' is empty. If we select 'modify' and go, The field is empty on the page /modules/alumni/listing.php?lid=45.

The only way to reinsert the field's content seems to be as part of the approval process at:
/modules/alumni/admin/main.php?op=MainView&lid=45, where we can paste the content back in.

We have made some changes to the templates and the main.php file in the in the language directory to suit our design and usage, but not to any other files.

You can see the entry on our site at
http://communication.org.au/modules/alumni/listing.php?lid=45

David,

There was a change in the newer versions of MYSQL.
You would need to change TYPE=MyISAM to ENGINE=MyISAM for each table being created in the sql/mysql.sql file.

newer versions don't recognize TYPE=

Let me know what happens,

John

First problem.

I get the following message when trying to install on our local server for testing

Unable to install alumni. Error(s):
Installing Alumni

You have an error in your SQL syntax; check the manual that corresponds to your MySQL server version for the right syntax to use near 'TYPE=MyISAM' at line 23,

We are running php php5.2.17, and mysql 5.5.9

That is the latest version. No one has reported anything yet.

Hi John,

Great Module. I have a few detailed bugs to report, but before doing so, can you tell me if you have updated the 3.01 RC version since its release, so that I can test it before reporting bugs.

Thanks, David
