for the first one, do you get any errors with debug turned on? You probably should.

For the phone number you can do this:

go to company.php around line 36 find this line:

$sql = "select comp_id, comp_name, comp_date_added from ".$xoopsDB->prefix("jobs_companies")." ORDER BY comp_name";

change it to this:

$sql = "select comp_id, comp_name, comp_phone, comp_date_added from ".$xoopsDB->prefix("jobs_companies")." ORDER BY comp_name";

then go to about line 51 find this line:

while(list($comp_id, $comp_name, $comp_date_added) = $xoopsDB->fetchRow($result1)) {

change it to this:

while(list($comp_id, $comp_name, $comp_phone, $comp_date_added) = $xoopsDB->fetchRow($result1)) {

The above just added 'comp_phone' to the database call.

Now go to about line 62 and find these lines:

echo "<tr class='$color'><td><a href="modcomp.php?comp_id=$comp_id">$comp_name</a></td><td><a href="../members.php?comp_id=$comp_id">"._AM_JOBS_VIEW_LISTINGS."</a></td><td><a href="delcomp.php?comp_id=$comp_id&comp_name=$comp_name">"._AM_JOBS_DEL." - ".$comp_name."</a></td><td align=right> $date2</td></tr>";

Change to this:

echo "<tr class='$color'><td><a href="modcomp.php?comp_id=$comp_id">$comp_name</a></td><td>$comp_phone</td><td><a href="../members.php?comp_id=$comp_id">"._AM_JOBS_VIEW_LISTINGS."</a></td><td><a href="delcomp.php?comp_id=$comp_id&comp_name=$comp_name">"._AM_JOBS_DEL." - ".$comp_name."</a></td><td align=right> $date2</td></tr>";

This just adds <td>$comp_phone</td> to the line across

That should take care of the phone number.

I found a small bug that is probably something simple. In the admin area for companies tab when you click the company name it goes to a blank page. I think the file is modcomp.php I thought it used to bring me to a company listing and all their info.

Also on the comapny tab is there a way to add the company phone number to show up on the tab and the email.

so it would be something like this.

Company name, company phone, Email of company, view listings, delete company, date created.

You could add this below.

go to your viewjobs.php about line 12 and find this line:

require_once( XOOPS_ROOT_PATH."/modules/$mydirname/include/gtickets.php" ) ;

after it add this:

if (empty($xoopsUser)) {
redirect_header(XOOPS_URL."modules/profile/",3,_JOBS_MUSTREGFIRST);
exit();
}

That will make them have to register to see the listing.

Hope that helps.

That's why I set it up so they have to login to reply.
Let me think about it for a day or so.

So what i was trying to do was limit what they so to get them to sign up for the site. Either limit the description to only XXX ammount of characters with a banner saying "you must be a member to see the rest of the Job description"

Is that possible?

No, it didn't work that way.
I think you could do that now with a block.
What did you want them to see?
I could figure something out.

John im having a brain fart. How do I allow annomous users to see the job page but not allow them to click and see the individual job details. I though I could do this. I think my old age is getting to me or xoops changed its permission system...

I just sent you a PM.

If you are an employer you will see on the frontpage a link - View Your Listings -
that will have their company name under it.
If they click on their company name they go to the members page, on top of it there is an option to modify their info.

FYI just realized there is no way for an employer to edit their info. If i remember correctly there used to be submenus that were on the Main menu. Am i missing something. Was their a special menu i was to make active?
