Thank you! That would be awesome!

The focus is on making it easy and quick:
- login to Job listings
- click to add new job posting
- select existing company (or add new one)
- paste the job details
- done

Yes, that's the service we're providing for those companies.

I don't understand.

Do you mean you are posting jobs on this site without the knowledge of the person who posted the original listing,
or a bunch of companies don't want to add the listing themselves and are having you do it?

If you mean the first one this module is not for You. You need a link module to send the person to the original job post, then you could add 10 links to job listings. Or an RSS module to bring in the original listing.

If not then it is quick and easy to choose which company, if you have permission to add a listing for any company.

John

John, there are different scenarios for jobs.

Right now your module works perfectly for providing "Job Posting" as a service for registered users.

However, I have a different scenario:

I have a Website for a non-profit organization, and as a service to our members or visitors, we offer "Job Postings". This includes going to the Web and looking for jobs that could be of interest to our visitors.

That means that there could be a time that I would like to add 10 jobs for 10 companies in one session, with some of those companies being already in my database:

a) New company: I would like to quickly add a new company, and then add the new job

b) Existing company: I would like to quickly select the existing company, and add a new job for it.

Right not there is no easy and quick way to do it

Go to add a job listing for the first time it will redirect you to a page to create the company first. In there you can add other users, up to 2 other users. Or you can do it in the modify company page.

You must already be in a group that has premium permissions to have the option of adding other users.

It does not matter what user group the other users belong to, if they are allowed to add listings for a Company they will be able to, with the premium permissions for that company, if that user has their own Company without premium permissions, they will have premium perms with the other Company but not with their company.

I don't like the Idea of having a list of companies to choose from when adding a listing. you should only add for the companies you are allowed to.

You need to test this module further. It is not an easy module to test there are so many options.

Try adding a company with more than one user, make sure one of the other users already has a company. Try with different permissions.
You will see.

Thanks,

John

The best way would be, if I could create a Group, to which I could assign following permissions (in addition to Webmaster):

- create new company (from company view)
- when adding a new job posting, a drop-down window to select existing company, and next to it a link/button to add new one, if needed

Then I can assign a person to manage for me adding new jobs/companies, even if he is not a Webmaster.

There is only a place for the original poster of the company(if a premium user) to add 2 other users that can add jobs. Once they are added they can add job listings. If the user that is added has different group permissions, say not premium, they will have premium access for this company listings.

-Edit-
I don't mean group permissions, but the setting in jobs permissions.

I will have to add a place for webmasters in the admin.

Thanks,

John

How can I add jobs for different companies?

For example, several different companies send job positions to enter on the site. Right now, if I am assigned to company A, it seems like I cannot enter a job for company B.

Hot to change it, so the Webmaster (or specific Group of users) can enter jobs to any company they want to?
