I just thought I'd mention it. Since it doesn't hurt anything, I'd just leave it be. As far as Xoops 2.0.18 goes, I haven't upgraded yet. I'm a little afraid to do so, because I keep reading in the Xoops forums about problems with modules and so on. Something, perhaps, to do with the text sanitation, or whatever, in 2.0.18. So, I'm going to wait a while. Everything seems to work under 2.0.17.1, and I would prefer that it stay that way.

I'll keep working with Jobs.

I want to manage the site by using the module that you made.
Because I am Japanese, English is not so understood.
Please forgive me though neither nor the content of the question might
be transmitted well.
It assists in the module development and hold out, please.

Jere,

You know how many times I fixed that '_MD_AM_DBUPDATED' and it still shows up sometimes. It is Xoops, it doesn't do that with Xoops 2.0.18, at least not for me.

____________

The photo problem is something else, I forgot a line in the file templates/jobs_view_photos.html
go to around line 62 and find this line:

<{$form_picture.elements.caption.body}></p>

below it on around line 63 ADD this line:

<{$form_picture.elements.lid.body}>

lines 62 thru 64 should look like this:

<{$form_picture.elements.caption.body}></p>
<{$form_picture.elements.lid.body}>
<{$form_picture.elements.submit_button.body}>

You must update the module to see changes.

What is happening is that the photos are being assigned to lid 0

lid was not defined, the above code should fix this.

Thanks for finding that.

John

Okay, here we go:

_MD_AM_DBUPDATED when update preferences still around.

"Upload your resume:" should contain instructions as to what file types are acceptable.

Photo problem
------------------
I submitted a resume as admin entitled "IT Wizard". Then I uploaded a photo. When I viewed the resume, there was no photo. So I clicked "Add Photos" again. Took me to the album page. Said:

===================
Job Listings admin's album
-----------------------------------------------
IT Wizard Gallery
No pictures in this album yet

You have 0 picture(s) in your album.
As a Premium Member you can have up to 12 picture(s).
Submit a Picture to Your Album
etc.
===================

So, I submitted another photo. This took me back to the album page where both photos were displayed. I viewed the resume listing again. Still no photo. Clicked "Add Photos" and went to empty album.

Am I doing something wrong?

I am going to download and test this module definately and will let you know my experiences/feedback.
A descend classified&jobs module, except for this one, we don't have after all. Therefore great you are keeping the developing of this module which is needed.

Thanks in advance John for your trustworthy development considering this much needed moduleS.

Jere,

Glad to hear you haven't installed it yet. Before you do make sure you have a recent download. The same issue with the tel and tele fields exist ed in this module too, except there are a lot more places in this module. So I would redownload it before you install it.
And I know you will have some things to say about this module (and that is a good thing), because I'm sure I haven't made all the changes we did with the Classifieds module, and I have to before this is final.

There have been quite a few downloads of this module and no replies at all. I know it is not perfect, I would have released it as Final if I thought it was anywhere near that. And even if it was perfect, I would still like some replies.
When there was a security issue found with a previous version, it was reported on the internet, but no one told me. It is just strange how some things work.

Well I guess I'll go watch some comedy.

Thanks,

John

Can't speak for others, but I'm still way behind from the holidays. Should get to it in a few days. I think that this module has great potential.

I can't believe no one has anything to say about this module. I will not do anything until I get some feedback, I will not even look at the code and I will not release another version without some feedback.

I have just released Jobs 3.0 RC2.

I have added pictures for the resume section, it uses the Yogurt Modules guts, just like the Classifieds Module.

This should also be XoopsCube Compliant.

Please report any errors in this forum.

Thanks,

John
