c0ntrite,

Sorry to hear you were in the hospital, hope you are fine now.

You came back just at the right time, I am releasing version 2.0 RC2 of the Classifieds in a minute. The only differences are:

1. I have fixed the search, it should no longer show multiples of a listing that has more than one photo for the site search.

2. Fixed the html showing when you click 'show all by user' from within the classifieds module.

3. Updated lightbox to version 2.04 with the auto resizing patch.

For you with all your modifications you should just replace the following files:

1. include/search.inc.php
2. search.php

If you want the new lightbox, which I figure you already have, you would need to replace the folder lightbox, and the index.php file.

That should do it, if you have any problems let me know.

Again, I am glad you are back,

John

Thanks! Sorry for not being able to respond quickly, I was in the hospital for the past weeks :p

If it helps the module, please do use my hacks and other mods for the next release of Classifieds. I will try and contribute some more in the future.

:)

Those other problems I am going to have to look at, I probably won't get to it this weekend, as I am trying to release jobs 4.0 Final, I have learned that it is best to only work on one module at a time, they are so close that It gets confusing when working on two at a time. I hope to be able to look at it next week, sorry.

Once Jobs 4.0 is released I will jump back on the classifieds module.
This problem will be the first thing I do with classifieds.

it works! thanks!

but there seems to be another problem. It gives 3 results to a single ad when using the main search. but when using the search inside the classifieds module there is no problem.

one last minor problem is when using the search inside classifieds and you click on "show all results" it shows the HTML tags.

thanks john! :)

I was on my way to work this morning so I didn't click on a link to see what happened. If you go to the file include/search.inc.php around line 50 find the line:

$ret[$i]['link'] = "index.php?pa=viewads&lid=".$myrow['lid']."";

change it to:

$ret[$i]['link'] = "viewads.php?lid=".$myrow['lid']."";

that should fix it. let me know.

the actual search works but when you click the link itself it brings you to the index of classifieds. sorry i didn't clarify that on the first post :p

http://www.dogengine.com/modules/classifieds/index.php?pa=viewads&lid=374

instead of:

http://www.dogengine.com/modules/classifieds/viewads.php?lid=374

thanks! :)

I just tested it with the word 'stud' and it worked, did you already fix it, or is the problem still there.
