Classifieds 2.5 RC2

No longer uses lightbox, I am using a jquery.colorbox plugin instead and I also am using bezoom for magnification.
With bezoom you place the mouse over the thumb image in the listing and to the right of it you will see a 300px box with a magnification of your image, which follows your mouse movement.
The magnification comes from the original sized picture that was uploaded. Then with colorbox when you click on the thumb, a larger photo will appear, just like lightbox did. With colorbox I have it set to use 50% of the width of the screen.

Fixed some errors if the admin modified a listing (
was showing after modification) with default editor.




Classifieds 2.5 RC1

The formselect file needs to be changed because it does not validate the select box in a form properly, the file I provide does, and it is very important that it works for this module.( The only change is in the function renderValidationJS)

The cp_header.php file needs to be changed because it calls mainfile.php different than the newer versions of Xoops. but this module needs it to be like the newer versions. (The only change is the line that calls mainfile.php)


Tested on Xoops Versions 2.3.3b - 2.4.4 - 2.5.0 alpha2
Tested on servers with the following specs:

PHP - 5.2.9
MYSQL - 5.0.90-community
Server API Version - cgi-fcgi


AND

PHP - 5.3.2
MYSQL - 5.1.42
Server API Version - apache2handler - 2.2.14



Everything I tested works fine with this server, I may have missed something.

1. Now works with Xoops version 2.3.3b and up (some files need to be changed).
2. I fixed a lot of errors from classifieds 2.4
3. Added States or Regions in the admin.
4. Added search by state or region, category and price.
5. Admin can now add a listing in the admin section.

Newest version is 3.0RC3

THIS IS FOR XOOPS 2.0.X VERSIONS, NOT FOR 2.3.X
READ THE README FILE.


RC3 has all the fixes in the forums and many more, some add security throughout the module which means you need to upgrade, to be safe.
I have not had a lot of time, so I didn't test this on php5, but you should not have any problems. My php5 test site needs to be rebuilt and I don't have the time right now, so I figured you would not want to wait for this version.

I will fix any errors as I recieve them. NO MORE FEATURE REQUESTS FOR VERSION 3.

I have made the search for the resumes work, but it requires a small change to the kernel/module.php file. I will post the fix later.



New for resumes

I have added the same photo options that is in the Classifieds module. I have taken the guts of the Yogurt module.

You must use the upgrade script. Read the README file.

Things new for Version 3.0


1. Fixed the report about possible SQL injection, put addslashes() in the URL's,
and mysql_real_escape_string() in the database calls.

2. Admin can choose to use companies or not. Some just want to use it for one company.

3. Companies works like this.

When you go to add a job listing for the first time you will be redirected to a page to add your Company Information.
They will only need to add this information once, after that everytime they go to add a job Listing that information will already be filled out, so they won't have to keep add it.

The person who adds the Company Info can also choose two other users (by username) that can add Job Listings for that company, and also their contact Information can be added when adding or Editing the Company Information.


4. Users can view all listings for a company, and if that user is the submitter, they can administer their
listings from there. they will also be shown how many replies they have had for each listing and have
a link to show them the replies.

5. Users can sort the Job Listings by job title, date, company, popularity.
Users can sort the Resume Listings by job title, date, experience, popularity.


6. Users can now create their resume if they don't have one to upload.
For now it is just a one field form using a wywiwyg editor.
In the future it will get more involved, hopefully.

Installation

1. Upload the folder jobs to your Xoops modules directory.
2. Go to Xoops modules admin and install the module.
3. create your categories for jobs and resumes.
4. Set permissions for
1. jobs view permission
2. jobs submit permission
3. resume view permission
4. resume submit permission
5. jobs premium



UPGRADING

1. Back up your database.
2. Overwrite the jobs module with the new files.
3. Update module.

1. Fixed search result showing html code.

3. added captcha to the preferences, use it or not.

4. changed some functions names so they are unique(prevents fatal error when wf-downloads is installed).

5. changed search.inc.php so include_once for functions.php is always found.

6. changed some template files.

7. now sends e-mail to admin when there is a listing waiting to be moderated.

8. Changed the way moderation works. It is no lomger an option in the preferences, it is in the category creation process. So now you moderate by category.

9. added 2 more category fields in the category creation.
1. Moderate this category.
2. Moderate subcats for this category.


Features.

User Side


1. Xoops Notifications
Users can select to be notified if a listing is added in any category(whole module) or get notifications in just certain categories(category).


2. A Sorting System.
Users can sort the listings by date DESC, date ASC, price DESC, price ASC, title DESC, title ASC, hits DESC, hits ASC.


3. A Rating System.
Users can rate the user who is selling the product and also rate the product.


4. The Pictures are different too.
I have taken the guts from the Yogurt module and added them to this module. Now you can choose how many pictures users can upload and you can have different amounts for Premium and Non-Premium users.
The only thing, you can't add the pictures at the same time as the ad. I will probably change that in a future release.


5. Has a page for users to see all ads by 'this user'.
Users can see all the Ads by another user, and the owner of the ads can administer their Ads from that page.


6. Users can choose how to be contacted.
Users can select to be contacted by email, PM, telephone or any combination of those.


7. Users can print out the Ad.

8. Users can send an Ad to a friend.

9. Users can see replies to their ads on the members.php page.


Admin Side


1. Has Xoops Group Permissions, per category - per group.

2. Clonable.
There are only 6 steps to do manually and the module will be cloned, with no errors.

3. Many config items added change them in the modules preferences.



Installation


How to install

Installation

You will need to make the following folders writable (chmod 777) :

classifieds/photo
classifieds/photo/thumbs
classifieds/photo/midsize



How to install

1. Unzip the file Classifieds_1.2_RC2zip.
2. Upload the folder classifieds to your Xoops modules folder.
3. If you want to rename the module do it now, you can't change it after you install the module.
4. Go to Xoops Module Administration and install like normal.
5. Go to Ads Module administration and click on category maintenance, create your categories.
6. Go to Ads Module administration and click on Permissions and set up the following for each category.
A. View Ads Permissions - Select which groups can view Ads.
B. Ads Submit Permissions - Select which groups can submit Ads.
C. Ads Premium - Select which groups can set how long an ad will stay on the site until it is deleted. If they don't have permission it will default to whatever you set in the Ads Module preferences (default is 14 days).
7. Go to Ads Module administration and click on Preferences and set to your liking.
8. That should be it.



Upgrading

FROM ALL VERSIONS

1. Back up your database.
2. Overwrite the classifieds module with the new files.
3. Point your browser to yoursite/modules/classifieds/admin/upgrade.php, you must be admin to run this script.
4. Update module.
5. Delete the files below if they exist.
a. include/preferences.inc.php
b. include/pictureform.inc.php
c. admin/admin.php
d. editdesc2.php
E. listing-p-f.php

That should be it.

Everything I tested works fine with this server, I may have missed something.

This is basically the same as 2.3 with modifications to work with Xoops 2.3

I have added group permissions and notifications.

The Norwegian Language files for Classified Ads 1.1RC1.

This pack contains the Plugins for the Garage module to be used with Xoopsinfo and waiting modules. There are READ_ME files for each plugin.

These were made for

Xoopsinfo - version 2.14
and
waiting - version .95

This is all the plugins for my modules for the xoopsinfo module.
